Water hijab allows young women to surf

From The Age in Victoria comes this story of inclusion:

 

18 students from Cranbourne Secondary College took part in a special day at Point Leo Surf Life Saving Club on Saturday. Many came from the school’s Afghan community. The day was designed to give them some water safety basics that they could pass on to family and friends. It is also intended to spread the message that lifesaving is open to everyone.
